The brief: make Web3 feel like an arcade, not a wallet tutorial
Most play-to-earn titles lead with token charts and bury the game. Torrino DAO wanted the opposite: a racer people actually want to play, with Solana as the engine underneath, not the whole identity.
That is where SkangoGames came in. We built Bella Bumper as a retro arcade bumper racer inspired by the iconic Fiat 500, then connected it to Torrino DAO's Web3 stack on Solana. The result is a skill game first, with PISTA as the official reward coin for players who earn it on the track.
1. The product: five stages across Italy
Bella Bumper is a bumper-car racer with an Italian personality. Players drive a compact, retro car through five themed stages, from Milan rush hour to an Etna volcano escape. The fantasy is simple: insert a coin, survive the chaos, and outplay everyone else.
What we designed for
- Arcade readability: Instant pickup, loud silhouette, and collision that feels physical, not floaty.
- Place as character: Each stage is a postcard of Italy, so the world sells the brand as much as the car does.
- Skill over luck: PISTA is earned from racing, not from a random drop table dressed up as gameplay.
2. The economy: Insert Coin, treasury, burn
Torrino DAO designed the on-chain loop so the game can keep paying winners without turning into an infinite faucet. Every Insert Coin entry fee feeds a weekly Game Treasury. The top 60% of players share that pool. 10% of all fees are burned weekly, which keeps supply pressure deflationary.
Our job on the game side was to make that loop feel like an arcade cabinet: pay to play, race, see the result, come back next week. Wallet steps had to stay out of the way of the fun.
3. How the partnership split
Bella Bumper is a joint product. Torrino DAO leads the Web3 engine, token, and on-chain treasury. SkangoGames builds the playable game: feel, stages, presentation, and the session that sits on top of that engine.
- Game development: Retro arcade racer, car handling, stage design, and the insert-coin session flow.
- Product craft: A Fiat 500-inspired identity that is Italian first, crypto second.
- Web3 integration: Wiring gameplay outcomes into Solana so PISTA rewards follow skill, not a black box.
"Outstanding work. The SkangoGames team delivered AAA quality on Bella Bumper, a top-tier result from start to finish." — Eugenio Benetazzo
Conclusion: Il bello deve ancora venire
Bella Bumper proves a studio can ship a distinctive arcade racer and a live Solana economy in one product. The game is the brand. The chain is the plumbing. That is the split we will keep using for Web3 work that has to feel premium, not speculative.
